Water Quality
The beaches and creeks along Herring Bay show signs of ecological stress. Bacteria counts rise to unhealthy levels in the summer, our water clarity is poor, and our natural oyster population is down. AHB supports policies and actions that will help restore the health of our waters and fisheries.
